Jensen Huang Defends Nvidia Growth Outlook

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang detailed the infrastructure demand driving his company’s projected growth during an appearance at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia and Technology conference, according to TechCrunch. Huang reiterated his previous guidance that the chipmaker could see year-over-year revenue growth of 70 percent next year, potentially reaching roughly $680 billion based on analyst estimates for the current fiscal year.

Addressing market concerns regarding rising competition from hyperscalers and custom silicon initiatives by AI labs, Huang emphasized that Nvidia provides complete foundational systems rather than simple components. He pointed to massive clustered systems consisting of millions of interconnected parts and hundreds of kilowatts of power draw as the modern definition of an Nvidia GPU unit.

Huang stated that Nvidia maintains visibility across the entire artificial intelligence infrastructure supply chain by tracking global data center capacity, power availability, and hardware deployment schedules from cloud providers and startups. Orders for the company’s combined Grace CPU and Blackwell GPU systems continue to see strong month-to-month sales growth.

Addressing questions regarding venture investments in companies that subsequently purchase hardware, Huang downplayed concerns about circular financing arrangements. He maintained that Nvidia requires verified customer contracts before committing capital and mitigates financial exposure through structured agreements across the ecosystem.

While acknowledging that future technological shifts and efficiency gains will eventually alter the market landscape, Huang argued that broad model compatibility and widespread ecosystem integration position the company to sustain its dominant market position through the near-term infrastructure buildout.
