Flow Engineering Raises $50M Series B for Hardware AI
Flow Engineering has secured a $50 million Series B funding round at a $750 million valuation to expand its artificial intelligence platform for hardware design, according to TechCrunch. The funding round was co-led by Valar Equity Partners and Atreides Management, with continued participation from Sequoia Capital.
Founded three years ago and based in San Francisco, Flow Engineering develops artificial intelligence agents designed to streamline the hardware development process. The tools automatically align computer-aided design drawings with product requirements, simulation outputs, and testing data. The company’s enterprise customer base includes organizations such as Anduril, Rivian, Joby Aviation, General Motors PPU, and Stoke Space.
Former Sequoia partner Roelof Botha participated in the financing as an individual investor and has joined the startup board of directors. The capital injection highlights growing venture interest in specialized artificial intelligence infrastructure and tools that accelerate physical engineering and complex hardware manufacturing workflows.
