Robinhood Chain Outpaces Ethereum in Daily App Revenue
Applications operating on Robinhood Chain generated more revenue than Ethereum over a recent 24 hour period, according to data reported by The Defiant. Two months after going live, the network built by Robinhood to trade tokenized stocks recorded $2.66 million in daily app revenue as of Monday, compared to $1.28 million for Ethereum.
Solana led all networks with $5.07 million in daily application revenue, followed by Robinhood Chain, while Hyperliquid reached $1.7 million, BNB Chain recorded $886,126, and Base hit $438,882. The rankings are based on a metric that excludes stablecoin issuers, liquid staking, and gas fees, which typically generate the majority of Ethereum onchain income.
The surge in Robinhood Chain activity is largely driven by memecoin speculation and token launchpads. Pons, a token launchpad native to Robinhood Chain, collected $5.34 million in fees over 24 hours and $16.77 million over seven days, per DefiLlama figures cited by The Defiant. The platform’s V2 contracts retain 30% of curve and Uniswap V4 swap fees for most pools alongside a 0.0005 ETH per token launch fee, with remaining proceeds directed to token creators. Approximately 80% of V1 revenue supports buybacks and burns of the PONS token.
PONS traded at $0.32, marking a 13.7% increase over 24 hours and a 313.6% gain over seven days, resulting in a market capitalization of $230 million according to CoinGecko. Additional contributors included trading bot GMGN with $956,450 in fees, alongside Uniswap V4 and V3 deployments collecting $2.68 million and $1.45 million respectively. Across the network, decentralized exchange volume reached $1.03 billion over the 24 hour window, representing a 12.1% increase from the previous day.
